Our name is our promise.
Kind water for every home — not just the ones that can afford it.
It started with a question about Iowa's water.
Kind Water Co. was founded in 2021 — but the reason goes back further. According to the Iowa Cancer Registry, Iowa has the second-highest rate of new cancer diagnoses in the country, and it is one of only six states where that rate is still rising — the fastest rise in the nation. That sent us looking for answers, and water kept coming up.
Across the Midwest, decades of nitrates, fertilizers, and pesticides used on farmland have worked their way into the water supply. City and county plants do important work — but they were never built to remove all of it, and what's left flows straight to your tap. We didn't think clean water should depend on what your utility can filter. It should be handled where it reaches your family: at your home.
Kindness means doing right by your home and your water — every single time.
Built by a local. Run by a family.
Kind Water Co. was started by Ryan Brunton after almost a decade in construction and home services. What began as a hard look at the Midwest's water became a family-owned, family-operated company with one belief at its core: every homeowner deserves genuinely clean water.
